Kuurne Brussels Kuurne - Before

On the 26th February I will be on the startline of my first international race of the 2023 season, Kuurne Brussels Kuurne. The race is a UCI 1.1, the best of the best of the junior peloton will be there and I am aiming for a good result following on from strong form on training camp with the team.

The course is atypically Belgian, with cobbled bergs, crosswinds and narrow farm tracks. The winner will not just have strong legs but have the racecraft to control and dictate the front of the race - plus, a bit of luck on their side. I'm optimistic and am excited to don the Zappi blue and orange for the first time this season. There will likely be a livestream, if so, I will be wearing number 111! Catch-up after, Cormac.
